Constructive Feedback: Enhancing Trust and Safety on the Platform

I find this application partially useful; however, there are significant gaps, particularly regarding trust and the difficulty of finding reliable professionals. Currently, the platform lacks adequate security measures to protect both parties. I believe the following features are essential to improve the user experience and safety: Formalized Agreements: Once two parties agree on a job, all details should be documented within the app. Written Proposals: The service provider should submit a formal, written proposal detailing the scope of work and the total cost through the app, which the client must then formally accept. Milestone Tracking & Evidence: As the work progresses, the provider should be required to upload photo evidence of their progress. In-App Payment Requests: Payment requests should be initiated through the platform. I believe users would be more than happy to pay a small commission (e.g., 1%) if it ensures that their payments are secure and the job is completed to the promised standard. My personal experience highlights why this is critical: I recently hired a professional who ruined £450 worth of wallpaper. Despite failing to do the job correctly, he repeatedly demanded payment and even resorted to threats. The lack of a secure payment and dispute resolution system in this app allows unskilled or unprofessional individuals to operate without accountability. I hope you will consider these suggestions to make the platform safer for everyone.
