Do not purchase a eSIM card before getting to Thailand. You cannot activate it! You cannot activate it when you get to Thailand. You cannot get a refund! I purchased 5 eSIM for my family from the AIS web site before leaving from the United States, to be prepared. We make it to Phuket airport and there are 10-15 AIS booths with 5 + people working. You explain you purchased the eSIM from the web site and it’s not activating. All they can get out is “big store” and point you to leave the airport. You walk out and there is an area for AIS, but it’s not open. There is sign saying they open at 9. We waited and hour and half until almost 10 no one shows up. We start asking around where the AIS people are at and basically get laughed at and then the other two company try and take your business. I have called, emailed, downloaded the app, searched the web for locations. There no locations with in 2 hours. Tried everything in my power to contact them. I eventually get an email back explain my situation. They ask for my location to provide me with closest AIS location and then never reply!! I’m reporting them as fraudulent, and telling everyone on every platform possible. Please do not you this company!
It’s quite a major oversight on Apple’s side that every time you change your phone you lose the eSim... it would be great if I could reactivate my eSim once I log on to the AIS app without having to visit a store and ask for it to be done there. Thank you for considering this as an option
It’s a common sense to have AIS Rewards available in English language and not just in Thai, I believe there’s also lots of foreigner customers using your network and it’ll be frustrating to not being able to fully use our Rewards and what’s the condition of a specific offer in MyAIS App. It’s 2018, you guys should start having your interface in a dual mode (Thai and English), your country will improve when it comes to speaking in English if major companies like you will start to adapt to its innovation and technologies, even in your website, it’s a pain when we chose English already but it’s still going to display Thai characters. 🤦🏼♂️ I hope this can be improved, I know you guys have someone in your company who can do some proofreading before you’ll roll out something, think out of the box and not just launch product updates solely for Thai’s, I get it when you are mainly supporting THAILAND but it’ll be even better if we can get this improved.
