My Secret Bistro

I have been playing this game for a very long time, but have also been on and off. I think if you want a relaxing game similar to Hay Day then a recommend this game. There are a few problems to the game that aren’t annoying at first but become irritating (hence me leaving). Some of the issues is that it tends to crash when you’re upgrading your research or anything, random problematic pop-ups like internet connection, account unable to sync, different account load-ups (which are old accounts that you had to make in the past in order to get into the game to load your actual account), it crash even if you leave game for a second, the market is annoying use (because I can’t find the things I need to buy to complete orders), etc. I still tend to come because I miss and love playing this game. I love the art, the storyline, the pacing, quests/challenges, but the issues I listed above is what makes it harder to stay.

I’ve been playing this game for over 8 months now and have only missed few days. The game is definitely very interesting but it can become very demanding sometimes as one can easily spend over 2 hours per day on the game, but that’s just me personally. As a longtime loyal fan, I’ve spent tons of money for sure in this game. The characters and all the fancy part-time buildings are rendered beautifully so hands up for the great work from the team. However, the server is very problematic. It’s very common to hear complaints from fellow players about the constant “Network Error” message that follows with game crashing. It is super frustrating for a longtime player like me as reloading takes extra time. What’s more frustrating is that with every update, there comes new problem: game crashes when entering other players restaurant, or placing newly gained Lucky Box items, or packing ship items. I think having a smooth, fast, and strong game server can greatly impact the overall game experience. I have seen multiple people quit the game due to the constant game crashing. Therefore, I highly urge the technical team to value network and server issues as it really makes it difficult to continue playing.

I’ll start by saying the game is very cute and a great way to pass time. Full of cute decorations and characters. I like that you don’t have to spend actual money to move up in the game if you really don’t want to. There are a few things I have an issue with. There are times when you have to spend rubies or tickets to get certain decorations or staff, which is not really an issue itself, the problem is that when you choose to purchase it spins a wheel and most of the tine you “win” boring prizes. The developers just released a zodiac decoration series that required you to purchase a VIP package just to buy the decorations, so I purchased the package and rubies (it costs 45 rubies PER SPIN) and I spun the wheel. I spun the wheel 5 times and didn’t receive one single zodiac decoration, just random building materials that I can’t use until I collect 30+ of each. So I spent roughly the equivalent of $20 to get about 5 building materials. I hate this because if I spend money on a game I’d like to be rewarded for that, especially if I purchase a VIP package. I hope the developers consider making it a guaranteed win for VIPs and people who spend actual money. I won’t renew my VIP subscription until this happens.
