My Diary - Daily Diary Journal

I use this app EVERYDAY. ESSENTIAL TO MY LIFE. Plain and simple. I document my life and also use it for work, notes, etc. This app is the best outlet for me to express my thoughts and being able to lock it so that I can only see is a super plus. I have been diagnosed with a mental illness, along with Lupus etc. So this app also helps me track what days I am in pain, helps me remember what I was doing when said pain started to see if there’s a pattern or something. It also helps me track my mental health status. To document why I am a feeling the way I feel. I can write anything down and know that no one can see view it unless I want to. The Aesthetic of the app is also great! I pay for the premium so that I can choose background images/colors/fonts that suit my mood. I have downloaded the floret app which is another diary/journal/task apps. The journal section is in plain white so it’s not fun getting to choose a fun background when I’m in a good mood. But I will stick with this app for sure! Thank you to whoever created this! (Not to disrespect the Floret app. That is good too & they gave me a free membership. it’s great for simplistic tracking/tasking; but I’d use this for journaling. Plus there is no lock on that). This app is super cute! It’s easy not to get overwhelmed with its features, but one thing it does lack is proper formatting. It would be cool if we could wrap text around personal images, or customize how the image is displayed by clicking and dragging it like a sticker. I wanted to put two images that were related to each other together on the same line, and couldn’t. It also would be nice if we could use different text alignments for different parts of an entry. I also have to [b]re-bold[/b] my text a lot, since saving it sometimes gets rid of that formatting. Formatting is a little clunky and the app doesn’t always do what you tell it, but since it’s appeal is simplicity, it’s understandable. The stickers are probably my favorite part! They’re super cute, and you can put them on top of images. It also comes with a lock, which is great, cause I’m writing some really cheesy stuff I would be mortified about someone who knows me seeing. The custom emojis in the app are also really cute. I like to use the stars as bullet points. One last suggestion to add is page dividers/page breaks. So far I just input a line of “—————“ when I wanna break up text. Really just adding an option for users to input custom HTML or some sort of forum formatting like BBCode could add lots to this app.

I downloaded this app back in 2022 and immediately payed for the premium version. What a beautifully made app to write all your words in. You will always be inspired. And I always recommend it to others. I recently was writing a lengthy page, which isn’t unusual for me, but this time I included photos. Which I don’t usually do. Seven photos to be exact. Everything was fine but when I tried to add the seventh photo everything I wrote underneath it disappeared. As you can imagine I was shocked since that was basically three paragraphs gone. I was able to remedy this by deleting the seventh photo and voila, the three paragraphs came back. When I decided I wanted to change the sixth photo to something else I deleted it and tried to add a different picture but then the same problem popped up; now everything under the sixth photo vanished. I’m not sure if this app has a photo limit I wasn’t aware of before but I’m afraid to add any more photos or change any in case it happens again. Could the app developer please let me know?
