My Diary - Daily Diary Journal

Okay… So this is my first ever time downloading a diary app and this app actually suprised me, because I downloaded atleast 4 apps ( including this one ) and I deleted them all. I loved this app because of the beautiful theme you can choose from and I believe that you need to upgrade to premium to get most of the theme and other featrues in this app. But the weird thing is, when I click on the premium membership, it says that it’s $0.00. I don’t know if this what’s showing just on my screen, but for me this doesn’t relaly bother me since I’m fine with the limited features this app offers me. I can wrtie my diary and it shows me the date and I can choose emojis to use to represent how I felt on that day. I can also use Korean and I believe multiple other languages as well. I also downloaded this diary because of a feature that this app offered me. It said that this diary had a lock! I wanted to check it out, so I clicked on a couple simple buttons and it let me choose from a pattern passcode ( the one Samsung has inorder to open the home page ), it let me create a nubmer passcode, which was up to 4 digits, and finally the fingerprint. I tested it out and it was fantastical. I chose the fingerprint, since I thought that that was going to be the most safest way to lock my diary. My iPad is an apple, model 10 one. The latest one if I believe so. I put my hand on top of the button where it scans my fingerprint and the lock worked perfectly. Now I don’t need to worry about any of my friends or familys finding out about my darkest secrets and inner feelings. Hehe

I tried a few different apps at the beginning of the year. I wanted some ability to be a little more creative, but not so much that it takes me hours to figure out what on earth I'm doing. The only reason for four stars is because Apple's new Journal app is amazing for prompts because it gives pictures I've taken, places from Google maps and so much more as prompts and if there were way that this app could connect to those things too: IT WOULD BE PERFECT. Apple’s “Journal” app is it more interactive, but it looks cooler because it's got the actual things you did available effortlessly. BUT it's not available on iPad... so here I am copying, pasting, inserting & trying to remember as life goes by at the speed of light what I did all day. 👉🏻Another thing is I can’t seem to find (and I’ve clicked on everything) a way to change the color. The themes are limited; I would like to be able to add my own “wallpaper” if you will. 👉🏻You also can’t add an additional “mood” if your mood changes through the day. Or even just add the icon in the text. Sure, you can add emoji’s but I have chosen the “cat” mood because I am a premium member but I can’t even insert a new cat into the text of my journal should my mood change during the day & I want to record it. 👉🏻There is no landscape view either 👉🏻Agree with other reviewers that there should be 1) a way to use handwriting with the apple pen —seems pretty basic 2) a way to export entries/entire journal to a preferred cloud, drop box, file etc.

I downloaded this app back in 2022 and immediately payed for the premium version. What a beautifully made app to write all your words in. You will always be inspired. And I always recommend it to others. I recently was writing a lengthy page, which isn’t unusual for me, but this time I included photos. Which I don’t usually do. Seven photos to be exact. Everything was fine but when I tried to add the seventh photo everything I wrote underneath it disappeared. As you can imagine I was shocked since that was basically three paragraphs gone. I was able to remedy this by deleting the seventh photo and voila, the three paragraphs came back. When I decided I wanted to change the sixth photo to something else I deleted it and tried to add a different picture but then the same problem popped up; now everything under the sixth photo vanished. I’m not sure if this app has a photo limit I wasn’t aware of before but I’m afraid to add any more photos or change any in case it happens again. Could the app developer please let me know?
