Museums of Türkiye - Official

I read all the reviews saying this app was basically useless for foreign visitors, but I decided to be optimistic. That was my first mistake. 😂 I first tried purchasing tickets through the official website using multiple credit cards from multiple banks. Nothing worked. So, thinking the app might work better, I actually downloaded it specifically to try purchasing my tickets there. Spoiler alert: it did not. The app wouldn’t even let me change the quantity of tickets I wanted to purchase. At one point I was so committed to making this work that I said, “Fine, I’ll buy ONE ticket at a time.” Still declined. 😂 I have rarely worked this hard to give someone my money. If an international tourist is trying to purchase tickets to visit Türkiye’s museums, accepting international credit cards and allowing us to select the number of tickets feels like a pretty reasonable starting point. One star for consistency, though, the bad reviews were completely accurate.

Wonderful service

Cants be used to buy tickets if one is not a Turkish citizen (why bother with the english version?) Of course the app is so buggy one can manage to actually fill out a ticket purchase form, which helpfully returns a raw sql error. Wouldn’t want to put personally identifiable info in the app even if it were possible for a non-Turk, as it’s incompetent construction is good assurance your data will be hacked eventually.
