Motorola by Hubble Connected

I felt like I did a lot of research before settling on a Motorola baby monitor. Over time (not even 5 months with only more consistent use over the last month or so) I’ve become more an frustrated with the the app, camera, additional monitor. About half the time I open the app and cannot view the live feed and have to close and open it two more times before it starts working while our internet appears to be working just fine. This can take over a minute which is definitely not helpful when trying to see why the baby is crying. Then if you have the open and look at any other app that has sound it has any combination of horrible sounds (sometimes an echo, sometimes ear shattering white noise that continues to get louder, and sometimes a much louder version of the app). The music/story/record feature seemed great, but about 75% of the time you can’t turn it off without a lot messing around with the play pause button, restarting the app etc. I frequently have to start another sound to eventually turn it off which is pretty ridiculous while the baby is sleeping. Even at the most sensitive it fails to pick up a lot the baby has completed rolled over and it picks up nothing. It seems like they don’t care unless you spend more money on a $150 baby monitor. I honestly think my eufy doorbell and corresponding service would be more preferred. Unfortunately I didn’t do as much research into their company before our shower or I’m sure I would’ve purchased their baby monitor.

Not sure why there’s an option for settings if you can’t change any of the settings. 1. There’s a switch on the app to stop the blinking light that WOULD be helpful since my baby is distracted by it when he’s supposed to be trying to go to sleep. 2. The option to turn off notifications doesn’t work either (since I can’t change the camera sensitivity) I had to go to my phone settings and block them from the app manually. 3. Supposedly the times are synced to match my phone, but that isn’t the case since it’s way off. 4. It would be nice if you could have the sound on the camera off and then turn it on when you open the app if you choose to, sometimes I need to open the app near my sleeping baby in the dark and it is very loud. *UPDATE* from 2 star review to 4 star After hearing back from customer support, problems 1-3 were solved, as well as one I forgot to mention, the ability to control music/white noise from the app. All I had to do was delete and reinstall the app. Just be sure to save all of the photos and videos from the gallery because those will be erased! Number 4 is still an issue and I hope someone takes it into consideration. Thanks! *Reading comprehension is important.* I would like it if the app could have the sound OFF initially because the camera is very loud when you open the app. It was just a suggestion.

This little Doppler has definitely put this momma at ease since I was about 15 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. We had bought this one at target and thought we would give it a try and let me just tell you, it has been great ! I love that you can listen and record from your own phone and even save the videos of your baby’s heart beats and send them to your closest family members via text, email, or air drop❤️ It comes with a kick counter and a counter for how many glasses of water you have consumed because we all have pregnancy brain (Duh!) it even monitors your weeks and give you small tips on how big baby is already. Currently 39 weeks pregnant now and actively use this Doppler daily to check on my baby girls heartbeat to make sure everything goes smoothly. The Doppler is so small I carry it in my purse with a pouch that is provided in the packaging. The battery life has been great I’ve only ever charged it twice in the duration of having this device. I would highly recommend this Doppler to any pregnant mommas to be out there 10/10 love love love 💕
