Good to use. Only thing that would be better is if they actually used the Arabic alphabet instead of the text message based writing style. Personally I can’t stand this type of writing and it makes it actually harder, especially since I can read Arabic.

Really pleasant experience using this app! Some more expansive / bigger budget language apps aren’t designed as well as this one is - the flow is great, the sound effects are just really well chosen and effective, and it leaves enough guesswork that you really have to think your way through the example dialogues, which helps a lot with retention. I love that it doesn’t just present vocab in isolation, everything is in context, and the voice recordings are really natural and accurate. I haven’t finished all of the content yet, but I have a feeling that when I reach the end my only critique is that there isn’t more lol. Also some of the examples are pretty specific and give vocab that imo is not too useful - but the back and forth is still really helpful, and even subjects that I don’t feel are very relevant use sentence structures and phrases/etc that are still useful and common, even if the nouns themselves are kind of specific. All in all, lovely experience, I never tend to write reviews but this one really impressed me. Well done w chokran bzaaaaaaff

So happy to find an app that teaches Darija! I wish the format had more pictures and also included the Arabic alphabet. It’s tricky to learn the number signs along with the new words, but that’s a difficulty of working with a whole different alphabet. Maybe best to pair it with Arabic alphabet lessons from duo lingo or something, but then one must also learn to translate Arabic alphabet to the number signs used. There is a button to reference the sounds of the symbols, so I am just plugging away and appreciating that someone has put this app together.
