Moon & Garden

It’s a great reference tool but not good for exact gardening, and has some room to grow. Would it be possible to add an equatorial option besides northern or southern hemispheres? Also, I have found this app to have conflicting information with other gardening by the moon sites. Obviously this isn’t a real science and always leaves room for interpretation but for the most part this app works well as a basic guide.

You have to click into each day to see what the symbols mean. It would be easier if you could search for “seeds” for example and see all the upcoming days for seed planting.

This is a very useful tool. I’m really grateful to have the info and guidance and easy access to what’s going on with the moon.Could use a few improvements in my humble opinion:The moon section: it would be nice if you could swipe to different dates from the moon page, rather than having to go back to the calendar page, choose a date, then tap back on moon. Kinda tedious.Also would be really cool if the moon image displayed was real time. So if it’s a quarter moon on the date you’re looking at, then the image would reflect exactly what it looks like in that date. Also it would be cool if it displayed the phase (waxing, waning, crescent, gibbous)Dictionary could be expanded a little more, give a little more info on techniques and stuff. Also, what is the difference between plant and plant out? Is planting out the same as what we call ‘repotting’ in the US?The Garden section is a little confusing. It says “What to do: Harvest fruits, vegetables fruits and flowers or leaves” What?? That is a very confusing sentence, or maybe that’s suppose to be a few different points and they aren’t properly selected by commas. Could we get some better wording there? Also when you’re looking at a Root veg day, it mentions cloning and grafting. Do you graft root vegetables? Or clone them? From what I’ve researched cloning and grafting are not applicable to potatoes, garlic, carrots, radishes, onions, etc. But maybe I just don’t know.So basically, I think it could just use some grammar editing, and a little more specific and clarified information on what tasks to do/ not do.But once again, I want to thank the developers for creating this and making it available to us!
