Moon Calendar Plus

Very good for what it promises, but needs two areas of improvement. 1) An easier, faster way of going to a specific historical date or future date. That is, possibly option-click on the TODAY button to bring up a date input dialog. 2) Currently, adding a tab is a duplicate of a single tab. Please make it so that each tab can be a different location & date. This second item would be great when researching historical events or writing historical fiction.

I have this on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. I enjoy astrophotography so I use it often. It’s great for planning, when the moon is in a bright phase I don’t photograph the stars because of the light pollution, on those nights I photograph the moon instead. I can use this to setup my gear before dark so I’m ready to go when the moon rises. Plus it has no astrology garbage. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you to the developers.

I think this is the perfect app. I am an amateur photographer, and I got this mainly for moon shots. I could plan ahead and use the app to find exactly where the moon will be in the sky for any given date and time. Then I discovered you can do the same with the sun, so I’ve used it for things like calculating the exact date that the sun would set over some abandoned train tracks near me. It does even more, but so far I haven’t needed to dig that deep. Thanks to the developers.
