MonsterTrader is entertaining, well paced and balanced, and has a lot to unlock! The many combinations of skills and abilities make unlocking more monsters a fun goal, and the artwork feels familiar and nostalgic! I have cPTSD which can sometimes make it hard to function; when I need to shut down and zone out on something for a while this game provides as if it were tailor made for me! That said, I’ve enjoyed all of this developer’s games. Highly recommended! 👍👍
Exactly as the title states, this game was a blast! And im absolutely going to play through again to try more monster combos! My critiques? Some things were difficult to understand like some mechanics but you get the hang after awhile. Could use some better methods of obtaining new monsters other than watching videos and completing boring tasks. It could also use some more gameplay variety like maybe different modes. But other than these tiny things, the game was a fun take on a management/unit based grinding game.
I’ve been playing moitititi’s games for years now, and this one is easily the best. I think you are definitely on the right track with this game. My ideas 1. Endless mode. The game is fun but ending at stage 30 seems sad especially since you can get all the strong monsters up to level 9 and you usually don’t need to do this to beat the game. 2. Allow users to replay the ending credits after beating the game 3. Some minor spelling fixes (for example, Sand Warm should be Sand Worm) 4. Maybe in a future sequel to this game make a campaign mode to explore and conquer the world, nothing complex, but I like feeling like an evil lord 5. Add a social media button that allows users to access game makers twitter/instagram with a button push Altogether great game, please make more like this? Maybe one with a monster fusion mechanic like Shin Megami Tensei or Dragon Quest Monsters.
