This has the potential to be a great game. However, as you level up, bingo games cost more and more to play. Even if you win, you generally do not win back enough $ to continue playing, sometimes even at the more basic modes. Additionally, you can play every day for a significant amount of time each day and still not unlock some of the higher level / gold cards during events. They also can’t be traded, so you can’t get them from anyone else that may have spares. Even if you spent real $ to get some of the promotions that give you card packs, there is no guarantee that you’d get the cards you need. If you complete in game activities that unlock the wild / black cards where you are guaranteed a gold card, there’s no guarantee that the card you get wouldn’t be one you already have. This season, they threw in a mini game that had its own set of cards. When you won cards, even higher packs, most of the good cards went to that instead of the main set of cards. It takes time to unlock the wild / black packs in hopes of getting the gold card you need, so this was extremely frustrating. I’ve played for a few months now and have played 3 card events. I completed the first full set of cards, but not the other 2 despite playing every day. Completing card sets is a great way to win $ to keep you going / able to play, so it’s really frustrating not being able to finish full sets. As you level up, it gets harder and harder to get all the bingos you need to complete different zones in the game. Last thing - the app can be glitchy & not let you send cards to others, show the rewards you’ve won, not give you capital club rewards, etc. If you don’t want to spend your own $, you have to watch a LOT of ads to be able to get enough $ to be able to do much. I’ve devoted way too much time to this game to not even be able to complete card sets or finish areas on the map. I’m over it.
I really enjoyed this game at first. But now, after the magic level 25, it's just frustrating and aggravating. There were always some little aggravations but the gameplay was worth it. But now I'm mad half the time when I'm playing and that's not what I play a game for. First of all, the endless 'tournaments' every single day just don't do anything for me. Second of all, the most fun thing about this game is rolling the dice on the Monopoly board, and you just don't get to do that that much. Third, if you have a little bit of a vision impairment where it's harder for you to see the numbers on the cards, you can pretty much forget getting bingo. As soon as the last number is called you have about half a second to do it and hit the bingo button. There needs to be a little longer grace period after that last number. I don't think it used to be quite that bad, but now I've lost quite a few bingo's because I just can't find the number and hit it that quickly. Another annoyance is that when you hit a daub or double daub when one pops up and they call a new number as you're doing that, it inevitably will daub the number that was called. Yet another aggravation. It's like you expect that everybody playing is a teenager with lightning fast reflexes, and I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that neither Monopoly nor bingo is really big with that crowd. It's a shame. I really did like this game in the beginning.
The game is a literal money pit! They want $5 to play 1 round at the “super level” (the 2nd tier of 4 that I currently have available). The rewards for winning r absolutely garbage… if u get first place u basically get your money back plus like 5-10 in game dollars (when the lowest costing game is 24 in game dollars a first place prize would be like 30 in game dollars) I have played 4 cards had all of them hit bingos and lost in-game currency! So on a hyper luck based game u basically have to get 2 bingos under 5th place to actually win a decent amount… and i regularly play rounds with 4 cards and don’t get a single bingo… Also u have to buy the power-ups and if the game decides to make a power up available that u dont have it eats up your only “power-up” slot effectively stopping u from having any more power-ups for the remaining match (so I could have 3 of the 4 power-ups in your inventory but if the game try’s to let h use the 1 u dont have it stops u from using any of the ones u do have!). I only played this game to try and earn some free money through a thirds party app and honestly if I wasn’t getting paid to play this dumpster fire I wouldn’t touch it with a 30ft stick. This dev team is greedy to an extreme and I sincerely hope they get in life exactly what they deserve (which is nothing!).
