MoneyPilot: Class Action

Here’s how it works: you sign up for an auto renew subscription. They lure you in with “discounts” for the first month and then it’s $40 a month after that. They promise to work on your cases, and they do… but it takes weeks or months to get paid from them. All the while you’re paying $40/month. If and when you ever get a settlement you’re just breaking even. Stay away from this place.

I signed up for this app and asked almost immediately for a refund, because I never heard back about the lawsuits I signed up for and in fact they disappeared any record of me signing up for it. Numerous bait and switches were used and despite me asking for my money back they doubled down and charged me for a full year. I am still fighting. My can refunded me but they convinced PayPal that they are in the right. I will send PayPal the screenshots of our emails and keep fighting but it’s costing me time and money. These people are wicked and slimy. BEWARE

This app was advertised on social media, they have very convincing ads, they give you a survey that makes it look incredibly easy to sign up for class action suits you qualify for then they take you to a paywall- once you create a login it requires you to download the app and then you’re required to have a “passkey” to login- nothing was sent to my email and my email/password did not work when I created my account. Now I have $70 charged to my Apple ID- no clue where this charge came from, I did NOT agree to paying this much for anything on this site- for an app that I have no way of signing into, even on browser, it says email not found and then it’s as if I never made an account. I have no way of logging in and being able to cancel anything. I hope someone sees this review before they sign up and avoids the crazy $70 charge to their account for receiving absolutely nothing. Absolutely wild scam!
