Mi Wi-Fi

I am using the device along with the app for the last three years. The app provides a good many options like monitoring and connecting the devices, scheduling, bandwidth allocation and above all performance optimization. I’m quite satisfied with the performance of the device at this price level and also the app. I don't know why the app is under rated. Thank to the developer team.

I love Xiaomi. They’re great! But there’s so much more room for improvement! My main drawback with this app in particular is that it does not match all functionality of the browser based access to the router! Hence some settings are only available either on the direct web access or the app. Also since I purchased the router all updated have failed... and I am stuck with the factory firmware. Still a great product, but...

wish I could tell you to stay away from this device before you could buy it. but here you are, ready to face the worl.. wait, you can’t access the web? because your app refuses to set up your router and forwards you to a page that shows other miwifi models whaaat? ok but here’s an ip you can try on your comp.. nawp, says download the app. ok, let’s try this on mobi.. WHAT THE HELL I DON’T KNOW CHINESE!? ok entered some random info, looks like I can connect to my setup router.. oh.. oh I can’t.. for no reason.. oh I paired but it won’t load anything.. hmm.. well the modem makes me look techy and the app icon I can show off to my buds unless somebody dares me to click it. *end of Mi WiFi experience*
