Metronome touch

This app is my favorite metronome app. I don’t use it for music, but for mindfulness, regulating my emotions and bringing my focus back to the present. I’m an autistic person with ADHD and this app has been excellent for me for this purpose. Disclaimer: what follows is a description of an issue that I had that was my own lack of understanding of the app’s functions, not any issue with the app itself. I was having an issue with it where I thought it wouldn’t allow you to completely remove the different beat sound (don’t know what that’s called) at the end of whatever timeframe you set. The number of beats is set at 12, so I got this to do 11 ticks and on the 12th beat it would do this tink sound that pulled me out of my focus and mindfulness. I’m sure this is necessary for musicians but it was jarring to me for my purposes. I emailed the developer and they got back to me extremely quickly and told me how to remove that sound so it would only play the sound I wanted. I also learned that this app does a lot more than I thought it did. Which, again, I’m sure makes it a great app for musicians. The person was kind and patient and explained how to fix my issue in a way that was easily understandable, which was my issue and had nothing to do with the quality or function of the app itself. I was very pleased with the timely response to my complaint and the graciousness with how the person handled it. I was very impressed with my experience with the app as well as my experience communicating with the developer. Thank you for a great app and great customer service!

I don’t really know anything about metronomes but I saw a nun tell a priest in training to get one on the series Evil. I downloaded a few and this is the most beautiful of them all. This one only charges $2 and you can keep it forever. One company was charging $49 a year which I think is simply ridiculous. Anyway, it’s relaxing and I’m going to do some research so I can learn how to use it in an efficient way.

First, let me say that this app is absolutely fantastic! A few years back, I had purchased this app, as I needed to find an app where I could sync multiple metronomes together. Imagine my surprise when I activated the newly purchased app, and found that it was completely, and totally inaccessible to my assistive technology, voiceover. I have been working with the developer, for a few weeks, trying to finalize proper voiceover accessibility support. This new version, is completely accessible to voiceover. It also works as advertised. The new technology, which allows for even better metronome syncing, seems to work quite well. I have not explored every single aspect of the app, but for most of the things I have tried, it definitely works as advertised. Great job, and thanks for helping make this app VoiceOver compatible.
