meteoblue weather & radar maps

In terms of accuracy, this is still the best app but I agree with the other review that the new three tab interface is a downgrade to the previous design where you could vertically scroll through the three meteograms on the same page. I emailed the developer and basically got the same response about how mobile devices have small screens (as I type this on a 6.9” Pro Max) and how somehow having to tap three different tabs to see the same information you could previously just scroll to see is somehow better. It’s also not true you can see the old view by tapping on a meteogram because it only shows one at a time instead of all three at once. Also, the irony of this argument is in the previous design you could tap on any of the individual meteograms to see them full screen so I don’t see why there was even a need to change things in the first place. The old design is worth 5 starts, this design is worth 3 stars.

I have been a WeatherPro HD user for many years and downloaded Meteoblue for a second opinion. As a displaced American living in Europe 50+ years, I still like to check the weather at home and where relatives live in No America. With Meteoblue I can do that but not with the other. Past few months WP has had reoccurring problems which are irritating and I have often been with Meteoblue and now like it better. It has so much to offer, so much more. It is my new preference.

I really like the way that this app presents all of the information in a concise manner. However, it frustrates me greatly that I have to restore my purchase every time I want to use the app. Furthermore, the widgets no longer function properly. I have tried multiple times to uninstall and reinstall the app and the widgets. Both install just fine on my 13 pro max. However, I continue to get the same error. Edit: still lots of problems. I am constantly getting a corrupted data message when I load the app. Sometimes closing and reopening the app fixes the problem. Often though I have to completely uninstall and reinstall the app. This is on my 15 pro max. I am more than happy to pay the subscription as I think that it's a fair price for a well designed interface. However, if the underlying system doesn't function then what is the point? I tried emailing the app creator; however, I never received a response. I really hope that they fix this soon. I regularly have to check the weather in multiple locations and do like the interface.
