I wanted more than just following a 365 day Bible plan that I’ve done over the past few years. I felt stagnant, like God was inviting me into more. I stumbled across a podcaster where the guest was John Bevere. On the episode he mentioned this app, which I immediately downloaded. As I briefly looked over the app, I noticed he was the author of the book “The Awe of God”. This book was one of the books that was read at my church’s (Deeper Fellowship Church)book club (I wasn’t a part of). This to me; was confirmation that this app was what I needed. I’m currently on the “Hearing God” plan, and I’ve printed the meditation guide to go along with it. Well after the first lesson, it was revealed that I was a lukewarm Christian based on how much time I was spending in the word of God and in prayer. I quickly repented and made an intentional decision to seek God diligently, and this app is already helping to change my life. It’s like I’ve found treasure and I’ve already began to share it with others. I know it wasn’t a coincidence that I came across the podcast that lead me here because our God is intentional. Although I’m beyond grateful for salvation, I know there’s more than being saved. I don’t want to be a pseudo Christian. I’m so grateful to have found this treasure of an app 🥹🙌🏾(which I can’t believe is free). I’m excited about deepening my relationship with God as He continues to reveal himself to me, and about my future. Thank you John, Lisa, and the entire team who made this available/possible! ❤️🙌🏾

I originally purchased the Bait of Satan in 2015 if my memory serves me correct. However I wasn’t led to read it until now (2024) and my Lord is it on time. 24 people I wrote a private letter to that offended me in my life that was brought to my attention while reading this book. It opened my eyes to my lack of forgiveness, judgmental thinking, and my need for self awareness. I am grateful to God to say that I #1 never presented those letters. #2 felt horrible after I re read what was in my heart. #3 wrote a letter of apology and completely acknowledged what I could have did better. #4 pray blessings over them that I desire for myself and my family. I would like to say this was an easy task but I would be lying. It did not feel good at all. But the fruit of freedom makes it worth it. I am still exercising my right to choose to forgive and truly be free. As Holy Spirit leads I will continue to follow. Pastor John Thank you for your obedience. Because of you I now know and understand clearly how to forgive and I will share the Gospel of Jesus in a new way. And with the help of God never take the Bait of Offense again. I have served along side my husband in ministry for 20+ years…90% of it raising 3 boys. As an empty nester, I suddenly felt lost, alone and desperate to find myself. For the first time in my life; I have found a depth in my relationship with Christ that I never knew existed. I was hungrier than ever. I wanted more! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! Everything here - courses, books, short messages, teachings - you named it - was readily available at a click of a button - and it was ALL FREE! MessengerX was God sent. What I love most about it…is that it is ALL backed with scripture…and for someone who doesn’t like to stray from the Bible…I have heard the Bevere’s say on multiple occasions that this should NOT replace the Word of God…”these are crumbs” but for us to get in the Word ourselves is what is our daily bread. God is so good. We have since shared this app with everyone in our church…. This is something we will be sowing into…. What an amazing gift…. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
