Merge Inn - Tasty Match Puzzle

I really enjoy this game and I actively play it everyday. I like the graphics and all of the fun side tasks, however the ad to energy ratio is very frustrating. When you open the game for the first that day you start out with 100 energy, sounds great, right? Not really, the 100 actually goes by really fast and to get more you either have to watch a bunch of ads, buy more with gems, (which are really hard to come by by the way) or spend REAL money. I don’t want to real life money on a fake game and watching all the ads gets really annoying. I suggest to the developer that you would PLEASE fix the energy problem. In addition, I have noticed a bug with the help/request energy in your club. Sometimes it won’t let me help or request energy, it will either say “player already helped” or “something went wrong.” I hope this bug is fixed in a later update. Another problem is with the gems and coins, you can collect coins quickly and easily, but there’s hardly anything you can spend them, alt least nothing useful anyway, on the other hand, gems are hard to collect but you have to use them to get most things. I find this aspect very frustrating and annoying, I hope that this will be noticed and dealt with. Overall, there are some parts and bad parts, and I probably wouldn’t put this game in my top 5.

The game is very fun and well made. The merges are interesting and there are always new items and side events that keep me engaged with the game. I don’t regret downloading it. The only real downside is the most common one that affects most games I own: the in-game currencies. Energy is used up quickly and the only ways to get more other are waiting for it to recharge, watching videos every two minutes, or spending real money. I’m not spending real money on game currency, so when I get tired of ads, I just quit the game and come back to it later. Most things that don’t cost real money use diamonds, which are earned very slowly and can be spent very quickly. Game coins are easy to earn, but there isn’t much you can do with them as few things can be bought with coins. I have nearly 3000 game coins now, and nothing much to spend them on. So, anyway, the ratios of currency and energy are quite irritating and reduce game play for me. However, this is a common game problem with iPad games! Most game developers seem to think that if they make the game currency ratios as annoying as possible, that they will somehow seduce me to use real money to buy more of the in-game currency. Sorry, not happening! I have better things to spend my real money on. All your annoying ratios do is to make me play your game less than I otherwise would! Apart from the currency annoyances, it’s a great game and I really enjoy playing it.

I started playing this game maybe around 1-2 months ago and it’s been a fun game so far. Made it to level 23 and this is the the merge game so far I’ve played that is super generous with energy (or you can use the ads to speed up an item). I had almost 1k energy once! There is always a side job to do so there is something to do while items charge up in the main game. The characters are fun and it’s funny to see what they like to order in each level! The downsides in the game is that when an item is out of charges, you can’t view the item stat or sell it (for some reason) because it is replaced with the character that asks to charge up the game. And this doesn’t go away until it is charged up again. And the big downside is that I accidentally bought the treasure box twice in the shop. That’s 300 gems down the drain on an item I never wanted that keeps moving around when I open the shop for the day. I could’ve have 400+ gems right now. I wish there was a warning that asks if I’m sure I want to buy it so I don’t waste so many gems. So now I got rid of all my gems and I’ll never save them up again. Other than those two issues, this would be the perfect merge game.
