I had been looking for a cloud service that has an Apple TV app in order to access media files on the TV and it looks like MediaFire is the only one that does. But the app is completely useless. If you open any photo file, the app freezes and you cannot even get back to the previous menu or folder. Even if you close the app and come back to it, it’s still stuck on that photo, so it requires a restart of the Apple TV in order to get back to the main menu! But actually it gets even worse. I deleted a few photos and renamed a video, all in the iPhone MediaFire app. When I then tried to use the Apple TV app again, it just crashed. I then deleted the app, re-downloaded it and logged in again - and same result: it instantly crashed. So now it is •literally• useless. I’ve used Mega, Dropbox, Google Drive, Yandex, and PCloud and they are all, needless to say, vastly better than this utter junk app. I just wish one of them had an Apple TV version of their app.
So I got this app yesterday, and I tried it out and it was interesting to say the least. For audio files, it just autoplay your other audio files that you have, which I think is a cool thing you did. No whether cloud file storage app or program does any of that. I also like how it tells you how many downloads of file has. That's a pretty good idea! Also, here is the things that I wish that would improve. One. When you are using another app, whether you are looking at something, and you click on share on any app that has the file, you should be able to import to the app. I was trying this out buy trying to share something from an app to this one, but it stinks how are you can't do that. When you share anything from a different app, like video files, audio files, documents and more, there should be a copy to MediaFire option when sharing something from an app. 2. When uploading videos or photos, Looking at your storage and other stuff, and making a new folder, you should make those three things compatible with voiceover. All it just says the done button instead of what it we're supposed to say. 3. When clicking on upload, instead of just uploading photos and videos, you should be able to select file from your device, just like it would using the website. Therefore, if you wanted to upload a document, audio recording, etc., Exxon what you select a file from your device no matter where, like iCloud drive or anywhere. That would be nice! Other than that, it's pretty good to use. For me it's probably better than using the website on safari on iOS, since there's nowhere to stay logged in and all that other stuff. Thanks for reading.
I simply love the simplicity and intuitiveness of the MediaFire app on iOS but one feature that is seriously lacking is the ability to share files and content from other apps to the MediaFire app. I have to go to other apps like google drive and Dropbox for this functionality. I am stuck with being able to upload only pictures and videos from my camera roll.
MediaFire lets you easily upload all your files - like your photos, videos, music, and documents - and access them from anywhere with your iPad, iPhon...
