Match Manor

This is an ok game, graphics are great and lots of side games and challenges to do which keep it a bit interesting. However, 3 stars because after about level 200, you start to realize that there are only about 6-7 different groupings, or “themes” with the same exact items to search for and the exact match goals each time, so it does get very, very, VERY boring seeing the same exact groups of items over and over. There’s a school theme (items like books, apples, school buses, pencils, notebooks etc), a Halloween theme, a monster-toy theme, a wind storm theme, a fast food theme, and a few others, but that’s it. So in the school theme, as an example, you are always searching for 9 apples, 6 buses, and 12 pencils, whether you’re at level 200, or level 499. There are never any new themes after about level 200 or so, which gets very boring. The game you played on level 349 will be the same exact game in level 357, 365, 373, 381, etc etc etc. You’ll soon start to realize that this game is rotating the same exact sets over and over. This game never changes and it doesn’t get harder or more interesting. It just starts to be an endless loop. They need to mix it up, change the groupings around and change up the types of items and number of items you need to match, or create new items. It is a relaxing game, but gets very boring and the challenge is gone once you get to the level where all the groupings just rotate. A pretty game, but no personality.

I have been playing this game for months. No ads is a dream, thank you for that!! I updated yesterday, and I was so excited they added new boards to the game, new levels with different objects. (I had the other boards memorized at this point). However, there must be a glitch because I played the new boards for an hour. Took a break, came back and it’s the old boards again. Just hoping it’s a glitch and the new challenging boards will be back soon.. otherwise , most definitely my FAVORITE game…

No ads. Let me say that again. No ads. If you like matching games then this is the one. All you do is play. All of the matching games I have tried play an ad every level or two or you have to watch an ad to get a power up. Here, they give you the power ups for completing levels. Some of the levels are a bit hard but there are enough free power ups to get you through. Yes, there is a design component that is not developed. But frankly, those always annoy me as I have to stop playing the game to design something that I could care less about. If all you want to do is match things then this is the game.
