Access to all the historical Magic sets and especially scans of the images has been super helpful in organizing my collection. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the Search functions could be improved, but it appears that the developers have made forward progress and are listening to users. I appreciate being able to save lists and searches. Overall easy to use and plenty of insights into Magic history and deck building.
If you’re looking for a database that will quickly and easily show you MTG cards, this app will do a good job with any card that you know the exact name of that was printed before M20. I wouldn’t recommend spending any money on this app, as it rarely updates with new cards and its search function leaves much to be desired: I would just use your preferred website on a mobile browser instead of this app - but until Scryfall releases their own app this unfortunately appears to be the best MTG database on the AppStore
I only have the free version, but it works pretty well. I love how it links cards to discussions about them so you can better understand them when questions arise. My only complaint is that sometimes it's slow and lags a bit.
