I’ve been using this app for the past month and I love it. I specifically love how it is structured so that it takes the guesswork out of journaling, but it also gives you the opportunity to share whatever is on your mind. You can log onto loop and do whatever you feel the need to do. Personally, there have definitely been a few nights where I had difficulty sleeping because of random thoughts and things going on in my life. During those times, I’ve gone on to loop and recorded myself talking about that, and it would help me fall asleep right after. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my communication skills. Who would’ve known that speaking about your thoughts every night would help you speak about your thoughts to other people? Would highly recommend this app.
Finally an app that doesn’t bombard with me with a paywall every day and is easy to use. Lots of journals to offer and the daily reflection has been a great way to share my thoughts without having to put feel like it’s a chore. Hopefully the option for longer recordings comes soon.
I’ve only been using it for a few hours, but I have to say I’m quite impressed. The transcription is better than most apps I’ve tried—and this app is entirely free. However, I think this app would benefit from a dark mode feature. I tend to voice journal early in the morning (from nightmares, dreams, thoughts, etc.) and it would help my eyes a lot to not be blinded by a blaring white screen.
