Local Matters: Where You Live

Been using this for several months and here is my feedback…. The information seems to be relevant, timely and local’ish. However, I wish it could be dialed in better. I live in a community a few miles south of Lake Wylie. While I sometimes get info that is in my vicinity, I’m also seeing info that is like 45-60 minutes away, that is less relevant and just not worth the time. My suggestion would be to enhance it so that it somehow ‘geo-tags’ my news feed to show distance away from my home vs. just generalizing that there is “news happening NEAR ME”. Also, having some local good news or events happening near me would be appreciated.

I’ve only had “local Matters” for about a week and already it has surpassed the other two local news feeds available for the small town I live in, with this in mind it can only get better. Please keep up the awesome work your doing, you have my 100% vote. Tony Dearing Georgia.

I'm bedbound and love this little app because it keeps me informed about the world outside my bedroom, particularly, local small-town rural happenings. Thanks for this app!
