Use it everyday - invaluable since the station removes the platform id two minutes before departure. Very helpful, responsive development team too (I'm no connection, just made a suggestion and they remembered to tell me once it was done). Good new features appear regularly. Update many years on: still great … still using every journey. No creeping monetisation like other apps. Just works.

I spent many mornings/afternoons/evenings approaching the railway and looking through rail planner. I’d find my next fastest train and go and wait and then I’d notice a train on another platform leaving to where I wanted to go sooner than the one I’d been told to wait for. That was a delayed train that the usual apps don’t tell you about. This app not only gives you the standard departures but also where the trains are, if they’re running late, the platform they’re due in on and the service and how many coaches. The best bit by far for me is the fact it also shows trains that should have arrived but have been delayed. I have managed on many occasions to jump on a delayed train (not shown on most planned apps) and get home 10-15 minutes faster. Not perfect for planning any further than a few hours ahead but for those who want to see what the rail network is really doing this is a must have! I use this ever single day to get to and from work!

OK rowing back from 5 to 4* The "approaching station alert" I set so I didn't over sleep my station went off AFTER I left that station. #### 5* So downloaded today because making a rare trip to London (from North West England). Usually I just use the Virgin app, but thought I'd give this ago. Boy am I pleased I did since it was train chaos today!!! I sooo needed this app. It has far quicker and more accurate/ detailed info than the Virgin app. I k ow 5* looks like ur the developers Mum or something, but no it was really good. (1) it alerted me to the platform way before announcements. (2) it allowed me to see the distribution of chaos across all trains and then flexibly filter for just certain routes. (3) it retains PREVIOUS trains so you can see what happened to them. The Virgin app doesn't do that but the info is really useful for working out what is really happening. Trust me.
