List!

This app is actually so nice. It's one of the only apps I've used on the app store that feels like it actually wants to do something. It works and everything is very intuitive. I used the lite version for VERY little time before deciding that the full was well worth the two dollars. It works so well for me and I enjoy how sinple it is to use! The only thing I would want added is a way to see a list in a widget, but even without that this app is just perfect. If you're looking for an amazing list app, this one is DEFINITELY the one to choose :)

Not feature rich, but feature perfect. This app is not bloated, super robust, and has the magical ability to export/email an entire list to a friend….Did I mention the support? Quick, succinct and thorough. I messed up a setting, without realizing the consequences, and they responded to my question incredibly fast. The support link is right in the help menu. I use this app for trip packing. Items drop to the end of the list and are greyed out when I check them off. I have tried several other apps, but they are too complicated for my needs or they try to do too many things, making the phone screen too full.

Time and again I get lured off to another list program by the promise of cloud synchronization, a feature I find myself wanting or needing more every day. Enough to buy another app, go through the pain of moving over hundreds of items, and the learning curve of getting used to another list program, which is particularly hard since I live in my list every day, all day. But I keep finding myself back with List! for one reason or another. The biggest reasons are that List! never crashes on me, while other list programs which shall remain nameless not only crash but tend to lose all the changes I've made for a while before; and that other list programs always seem to be lacking some basic feature like copying/moving from list to list, or dragging items into order. Sure, they also sometimes have nice things like additional or customized fields, line coloring, subtotals and totals, item icons, media support, etc. and I certainly would use those things if I had them. But I don't need them to get by. The cloud synchronization option is the only thing I need that List! doesn't have. That lure will keep drawing me away, I'm sure. So I just hope that Secret Society gets that sync ability before any of the other list apps get reliability and a full suite of basic features. Here's hoping!
