The latest version of the app as of this writing (3.0.1) in my opinion was not properly tested before release. I am a software developer myself and quite a number of bugs that shouldn’t make it into development are obvious. E.g errors are not being caught and are thrown directly, an example was during a downtime while trying to login, the app was throwing a socket error and showing me technical details about it. Another example is the payment gateway, the integration is still ‘wonky’. I’ve tried funding my wallet and I’ve being debited and customer care is really slow attending to me, just kept getting told the issue is being escalated, the payment gateway says success but app refuses to credit and tells me transaction already completed. This update really broke stuff and should be pulled until proper tests have been carried out. The previous version with a minimalistic UI and features is really better albeit having areas it lagged behind but it’s way better than the current one.
