Okay, first off I’m not able to do anything on the title page. Can’t login, can’t create an account, can’t link anything. Secondly, I’ve been trying to figure out literally any of this Macmillan learning stuff for my course and failing. I bought the ebook through my school for $75 expecting it to come with access to the “adaptive quizzing.” Spoiler: it doesn’t. Clearly. So I figured I could go to Macmillan learning’s website to buy it there. I’m not above purchasing extra study tools. Can’t buy it directly as a student, your instructor has to have an account first. You’re throwing away money by gatekeeping access that I’m WILLING TO PAY FOR. Could I make my own study tests? Of course I can. I was a teacher for years, that’s my bread and butter. But when I’ve got an 8-week course that I’ve got to pass, I’d rather pay someone else who’s already done the work. Fix your app. Fix your system. Add more transparency. The only good thing so far is the book itself, and it’s not worth $75 for 180 days of access.
