My kids have loved all the Paper Boat apps. This is well worth the price. She has built up her vocabulary playing the puzzles. I’ve been impressed with the advanced vocabulary words chosen; the developers have not shied away using more specific and interesting vocabulary. For example, in one of the puzzles, they could have easily said drum, but they used the word bongo instead. My almost 3 year old can be heard using those words, which has made this purchase so worth it.
What? 4+, no way this is the best 1+. My first baby started using it at 18months old, my second son at 14months old, my 3rd son at 18months old. All 3 within a month could play any of the nursery rime levels, the car games, and any game they found interesting. I wish i could give this app the compliments deserved. Made me realize how brilliant toddlers are even at 14months!! And not just mine :) Can you reduce the age group? I have not found a better introductory app for kids under 18months old to introduce them to educational electronic content. My 3rd son took the longest to learn how to use the app, but he’d been completely disinterested in TV and electronic devices at that time. I exposed him to the Itsy bitsy spider puzzle at first, for 2-3 weeks, every other day until he got it, from there immediately he was able to connect the dots for all the others levels that interested him. Wonderful work to the team who created this, If you ever read this, this app you created is important to me :).
My 2 and 4 year old like this app. It teaches hand eye coordination, vocabulary and nursery rhymes. There are a lot of unlocked puzzles so they don't get bored, but there are locked and unlocked together to try to get you to upgrade. I recommend for any kids who love puzzles.
