Now the terms data and data centers have a far richer meaning to me. I feel like the ape in “2001: A Space Odyssey,” as he begins to grasp using an object, in his case a femur bone as a tool and/or a weapon, also a tool, to increase his efficacy. I hear Wagner’s “Thus Sprach Zarathustra” in my mind. Think of how you might go about, prior to computers, finding a specific book in a book store or library, a specific symphony, song, concerto, or specific performances, or info on a specific employer you want to consider working for, a specific business to invest in, or you’re a detective searching a file system on modus operandi of known criminals, or the whereabouts of a missing person. How incredibly long and tedious it must have taken. You now have an idea how the digital age has greatly decreased the time required to get that info, now that thoughtful and brilliant minds have designed and built data acquisition methods and machines. This app is imaginative and efficacious to bring latecomers into the light. Thanks!
It’s already frustrating to have to reset a device, but being tracked like this is really not acceptable. I’m leaving a negative review because the “Lifetime/Premium” purchase seems to stick to the device rather than the actual account. After buying it once, other accounts on the same device are treated as if they already have Premium/Lifetime, and the in‑app purchase gets blocked even after a full reset. That means people can end up unable to buy properly, which is not normal. On top of that, I know someone who tried to make the in‑app purchase before and the button didn’t even work. Today it still doesn’t work for her, even though no in‑app purchase has ever been made on her account. The app has potential, but this purchase flow needs to be fixed (clear account-based entitlement and a “Restore Purchases” that actually works).
