I own a laundry service in Austin Texas called Longhorn Laundry and we get calls from customers who don’t know much English. I use this app to help me learn basic Spanish phrases to communicate better with them so I don’t lose their business. It has lessons for greetings and basic conversation, like “can you repeat that?” or “can you speak slowly?” and also a lot of phrases that I’m planning to use on vacation. One feature that is really helpful is the translator. If I search for a phrase and it’s not in any of the lessons, I can tap on Translate and it will provide the answer. Another feature that is Gold is AI Chat. I can ask it anything about Spanish like what are some common Spanish phrases to use in a laundromat and it will tell me. I’m using this to build a FAQ page for my store so I can grow my business. Perfecto 👍🏼

I got this app to prepare for a vacation in Cancun. It has been really helpful for learning how to communicate at the airport, talking to the taxi driver and getting around town. My wife is pretty impressed how quickly I picked up some useful phrases in such a short time. That’s mostly due to the exercises that help you with pronunciation. You can just speak a phrase at the app and it will tell you is your pronunciation is comprehensible. Very cool indeed! Definitely would recommend the app.

Graduating from high school this week. This app has been a big help to make the grade in Spanish class. A lot of the lessons have phrases that are similar to my textbook but lots of them go off the beaten track. Pick-up lines, lol 😻also phrases to use at a hostel. Hearing the phrases pronounced is useful but saying them yourself and having the app tell you if you got it right is 🔥 Other exercises are good for remembering phrases. Would be a good app to have on backpacking trip too. Get it, won’t regret it.
