Learn Sicilian

I have downloaded this app to learn about the Sicilian language but it seems to not let me listen to the pronunciation of the words. I’m not sure if it is something wrong on my part but I’ve tried everything I can think of and it still does not work. I wish to be able to learn and this app seems to be specific and I appreciate that, but I just wish this one problem would be fixed

This app needs some serious content in order to compete for one’s desire to keep coming back to the app. There is some good content, but it is seriously lacking features that should have someone wanting to go back for more. There are no pictures at all. Pictures help tremendously in learning a language. There is a reason certain language apps are successful and have taught millions. These and many more features are extremely important in teaching a language to people. They offer the complete package and appeal to all. Being Sicilian is considered an endangered language, shouldn’t we make the app attractive to children as well? The saying goes, children are our future, so why leave them out? The app is far from complete, but I donated my money in the hopes that it will improve and help teach our Sicilian language to many more. I would like to help as well.

I have bought books and tried learning Sicilian on many occasions but have given up because a book cannot talk to you and help you pronounce words properly. Id get bored sitting in front of a book, thinking im saying it right just to find out I am not. Many books ive tried learning from were a mash up of many different Sicilian provinces in one making it even more confusing to learn. They come with lousy CD’s that skip around. With this app you will be able to simply choose a province and begin learning. No more annoying books to carry around or outdated CD’s. Its all in your phone and its so convenient, you can learn anywhere anytime! After practicing words and memorizing you take a course and see how well you retained. This is a wonderful app, I highly recommend it to anyone trying to learn Sicilian. Note: For the people giving this app a bad review, they must have their phone settings on Dark Mode. I did too at first and after I switched it off the App worked just fine.
