Do not sign up for this service. I paid $17 for an annual plan, but about five months later I noticed that an additional $50 had been charged to my account without my knowledge. There was no clear notification or explanation for this charge. When I tried to resolve the issue, it was nearly impossible to reach a real customer service representative. You are constantly redirected to automated systems, and nobody seems willing to take responsibility or provide a proper solution. Based on my experience, this company is not trustworthy. Unauthorized charges combined with inaccessible customer support made me feel like I was being scammed. Save your money and avoid this service.

Finally an app that fits the way I actually read. I get through way more books now because I can listen on my commute and then check the summary later to lock in what I learned. The summaries are sharp — not too long, not too short, just the key ideas. Audio quality is great too, voices sound natural and not robotic. Honestly replaced two other apps on my phone.

First, this app circumvents Apple’s rules by processing payments outside the App Store. When you tap “Subscribe,” it redirects you to a shady external website to collect your payment. This violates Apple’s policies and is a huge red flag. Second, the app itself is extremely poor quality. The audiobooks are read with a terrible accent, words are mispronounced, and the intonation is all wrong — it sounds like a drunk voice actor generated by cheap AI. Sometimes, the language randomly switches mid-sentence — I was listening in English and suddenly heard French. I used the app for a couple of days, realized it was garbage, and contacted support to request a refund and cancel the subscription. Instead of real help, I received automated responses telling me to reinstall the app, etc. No names, no accountability — just generic copy-paste replies from bots. This is a textbook example of a scam. I’ve filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and also reported the app to Apple for violating App Store rules. Stay away from this fraudulent app.
