With the new UI updates the app seem downgraded interm of controls and monitors

The app works better than it used to, but I don't really like the new design of the app. It's un-intuitive. It used to open directly to the page for your salt monitor, now you have to tap the location icon, then tap your home, then tap your salt monitor. Once you get there, you see that they removed the visual representation of the salt in the drum. They just tell you how many bags are in there. I just want to see a quick visual representation of how much is in there, and how many 40-pound bags to buy to refill it. By the way, they took that detail away, too! It doesn't tell you how many bags to refill anymore. While I appreciate that the app seems to be more consistent in working, the overall re-design is pretty bad. I love our water softening system, but they really need to do better in the app design. They need to bring those things back that I mentioned before. There is no reason they should have removed those in the re-design of the app. When I open the app, I want to see the salt monitor right there, with a visual representation of how much is in the drum, with an estimate of how many bags I should buy to refill it. If they fix these things, I might update the review to 5 stars.

The app changed. It deleted all my info and also seems my account was deleted too. I downloaded it onto another phone and noticed my account was gone. Had to make a new account with the same email. This app wants to scan a serial number that is behind my filter, against a wall. There’s no way anyone can scan it well but I tried. Once it looked like it was a clear view, I tapped for the app to read the barcode but it scanned the letters instead and wouldn’t even auto input that. I took a picture of the serial number and the number wasn’t accepted. I wish it would allow us to pick the filters we have and order supplies that way in order to just show up and pick it up. But no.
