I get the need for ads, and I do see there is a ‘remove ads’ option, so that’s why I downloaded this app to try with my students. However, I could not even test out the app properly to see if it would be worth buying the ad-free version, because of the incessant and absolutely obnoxious frequency of ads. It was so bad - every few seconds- and pop up video ads no less. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will never download another app from Oculist again.
