I give 4 stars to Ka-Block. It works, doesn’t break any websites so far and it doesn’t delay site loading, so far. Why not give it 5 stars? I think I’ve used it for about a week, so I haven't really used it enough to give it a 5-star rating, yet. I really appreciate that this app doesn’t break sites or delay site loading, like some ad and track blocking apps do. Something that puzzles me, though, is that the app has no “on” or “off” setting, that I could find. It is “on” once it is installed. Wish I knew more about it.
This is a fantastic app. Unfortunately it has developed a problem. Images on certain news web sites will for no reason take on a semi opaque blue filter look. Different images. Changing from blue to correct. The image is impossible to decipher. Click on any link and the blue filter goes away. When Ka Block is disabled the blue cast filter problem is turned off. This problem doesn’t do this on all web sites. When I turned ka block off I was shocked to see the number of ads. SHOCKED! I will keep ka blocked turned on bc anything is better than ad saturation. If you guys can, please fix this. I’m on an iPhone 11 iOS up to date. Thanks.
Mobile ads and their trackers are the worst. I had been using 1Blocker for a while, but quite a few sites would be broken where I couldn’t use menus or searches. Ka-Block has changed that. It blocks most of what I hate while not breaking the way websites work. It doesn’t block everything, but that’s not what it’s designed to do. It’s designed to block what it can without breaking websites, and it does a great job at it.
