Jelly Field - Color Merge

I wanna start off by saying that I love this game! It’s the perfect level of difficulty and I like the length of time it takes to finish each level. But I play this game to wind down before bed while I listen to my audiobooks and it will randomly pause outside audio. I’m constantly having to unpause my audiobooks. I was just playing tonight and it’s the worst it’s ever been. Every 5-10 seconds it will pause my audio. This is my nighttime game and not being able to listen to my audiobooks while playing makes this game unplayable for me now.

This is one of the better games out there. You have to weed out the worse ones and when you do, you are left with this one. One complaint, to stop the ads $13? Too expensive. How about a sale on the “no ads”. I don’t play this as much because of the ads! But I love it so much, I will not remove the app. Bring the price down, have a sale. I’ll buy then.

First - a couple of reviews complain seriously about the ads. Well, I don’t see any huge problem. The first few levels are very short, basically tutorials, and there were no ads during those. I am on level 15, and yes, there is an ad between each level, but you can click out of them pretty quickly - about 15 seconds total, and you are back to your game. There are a lot of other games that are a lot worse. Second - no ads interrupt you in the middle of a level. Third - so far, there are no stupid races to join, no offers of stupid competitions against “other players” to click through every single time before you play each level - I hate those as much as ads, and there are none. No repeated attempts to get you to buy the ad free version, or “packs” of coins, energy, hints, etc. THIS GAME JUST LETS YOU PLAY THE GAME, AS SHOWN IN THE AD FOR THE GAME. As you get up around level 10, the game starts to get a bit harder - fewer free spaces on the board, larger boards, and the pieces you are given to play are not so easy to match to pieces already on the board. You have to plan ahead a bit more with each level. Also, a few blank spaces begin to show up - you can’t play any piece on a blank space, so that makes you have to plan even more carefully. That said, I haven’t yet failed to match the number of each color required at each level. The only reasons for four stars instead of five are: the blank spaces I mentioned just show up, with no warning, which is fine, but they are very nearly the same color as the free spaces where you do put pieces, and as such are hard to see. Also, as I have only played a short time, I think it is a bit early to award a perfect score. But so far, I have only the above minor complaint about this game; I have enjoyed playing.
