Japanese ー Listening・Speaking

I’m not sure if this app has changed since all of the positive reviews from three years ago, but it’s not good for beginners. I’m at an intermediate level with Japanese but found the beginners level ridiculously hard for someone that has no experience with the language. My prior studies helped me out but I watched others struggle that were beginners. Having Ads pop up mid sentence doesn’t help the ratings at all either. I’d strongly suggest try another app until you get a grasp of the language, then maybe revisit this one.

The only complaint I have is that the speech can’t be adjusted.

the conversations and the speed really train you to the sounds and the translation and how you can turn them on and off and stuff is immaculate! I love this!
