Many things to improve
This app could be a lot better. Instead of searching for airports,why not just browse by country or even continent or something. Also, many airports here need updating... I checked with current specs and some airports are way off. If you want to waste valuable space on your iPod this is the app for you. They should pay you to get this app.

Potential is there but falls a bit short with old information
Operationally, iPorts works as advertised and seems to be well designed but I agree with stagpilots comments--the airports data presented is old (years in some cases). I checked 10 airports that I know and 7 of them need updating. I'd also recommend a plain language decode of the Metar/TAF function.

This app is okay. But it need some more features like the whole airport diagram, and it's information of gates and airlines too.
