Super easy to use, I paid for the pro version or whatever it’s called so I can make my own list and only have my satellites visible in the AR camera. I’m a Dish Network technician and I use this on every job to check line of sight. Only problem I ever have with this app is sometimes it takes a long time to load it up as it has to pull your location in order to give you accurate readings. I feel like this problem might also be caused by my cell provider who doesn’t have amazing coverage (att) which is why I gave this app a 5 start and not a 4 star.
I primarily got this because I was clearing some land/acreage at deer camp and I knew I would have line of sight issues with a few trees. I set up the satellites (in settings) I needed to look at for Dish, went to the spot my dish was mounted on my pole, and held my phone up to the sky. I had an ever so slight obstruction on the 119 sat and the 129 sat was totally obstructed. With that said, I went to work. Had to remove three obstructions that were causing issues and now I have a totally unobstructed view of all the birds I need. With this app, it let me know exactly which trees/branches were causing the issue.
We travel in an RV and always looking for a spot to set up the dish. I have tried several apps and this is the easiest most accurate I’ve found. The ability to have a satellite favorite list is so handy. With the use of the phone screen view you get a clear picture of where the satellites are in the sky and possible obstructions is great.
It has never been easier to install your television dish. Direct your device to the sky and look in realty augmented mode at the geostationary satell...
