So I'm pretty sure most of the reviews here are fake because most of the names look like someone slammed their face into a keyboard and every one is 5 stars. But this is a super bare bones counter, good for tallying up something right then and there, but if you want to keep track of something over a long period of time this won't do it. Its much like the stop watch app that you will use right then and there, but nothing super helpful. So if you want to actually keep track of things I don't recommend this app, but if you need a super simple counter without ads... Then go for it, it's a free country anyways, I ain't gonna stop you.
Love the basic concept of this app. I think they made great decisions with the design choice. The interface is good, so that the counter button is the biggest thing on the screen. You can hit the button without looking at your phone, and no fear of accidentally clicking ads. I was using this app last night to rapidly count hundreds and hundreds of chairs that needed to be returned and signed for. Everything needed to be down to the exact number, and we were crunched for time. Even so, using this app, I ended up going back and recounting the chairs several times because I wasn't sure I could trust the final number. I'd doubt myself, whether or not I hit the button too few times or too many times while my eyes were so focused on what I was counting. While I was using this app, I kept thinking it would be much better if it provided some kind of feedback to the user. I was very surprised it didn't have something as basic as SOUND. Not so much as a beep or a click. But with how advanced the iPhone is now, why stop there? I think haptic feedback is definitely the way to go. With some responsive vibrations and sound, this app would be perfect.
Great counter. Thank goodness for the size of the "+" button. Subtracting/resetting a count is easy, and the design+size of those buttons pretty much guarantees the pressing of those is a deliberate action. I only wish there was an sound option. Still, great work.
