It keeps on booting me out of the app and saying I need to have this app downloaded. It also keeps on making You have never had this in you history in a box pop up

I downloaded the Studio Version and selected piano as my instrument. As stated before, with a Studio Version, one must declare which instrument at set-up. Not a problem for my piano studio! I think they have a quality product here, and I first learned about it from a review by Jennifer Foxx. She is also a piano teacher, and I subscribe to her blog and Facebook page. I took a look because she reviewed it, but now I want to help spread the word! A lot of my students are on summer break now, so I’m not seeing them regularly, but I will be building this into my plans for the new school year. Of course I love that it calculates their accuracy %, but the thing I can’t wait for my students to see (besides the fact that it’s FUN), is that their average time spent answering each question is also calculated. This will be hard for them to ignore (how slow they can be), and hopefully students will care enough to slash those response times and even have some friendly competition among others their age in the studio. That “uh” lag in response time has a price, and speed in answering has perks, such as Speed Bonus Points AND improved sight-reading in the real world. High scores board, too, for each level of difficulty, so someone could be a star on Easy, even though he/she is not ready to be a speed demon on the most advanced level. One other cool thing--the instructor has a password to get into the player history, so no little shyster can go in and erase his scores or change names around. A teacher (actually band director) was part of the development team on this one, and it shows. For piano, students either name notes or they select the “fingering” option, which in our case means to match up the note shown to one of 3 keyboard graphics shown at the bottom of the page. There is one key marked on each keyboard. Students must not only choose the correct key on the keyboard that matches the note above, but they must sort and eliminate the 2 incorrect choices of the 3 possibilities shown. One final caveat: I have an older iPad 2 that had the bare minimum version of iOS 7.0, and at first I had some difficulty. Upgrading my iOS took care of my problems right away. :)
