CTEK Battery Sense

I have a love hate relationship with this app. I absolutely love Ctek’s products and having a data logger onboard my trucks starting battery and accessory battery is great peace of mind. Ctek has had a number of issues with pushing out ‘half-baked’ updates to this app that renders pairing and app navigation glitchy. Even with the purchase of a new iPhone and reloading the app, all the same issues of the app crashing and pairing issues persist. Ctek is slow to fix major issues when they have released updates and their latest buggy update has been frustratingly ignored for 6 months now on the App Store as I write this review.

Though it’s been very reliable in showing the percentage of battery charge, getting the finer details of the temp, SOC, and voltage takes too long. At times you get frustrated, close and reopen app then the slow process begins again! Recent update made it much slower now! I have 4 autos with these modules, been happier without the recent update :(!

Latest update: thank you ctek! After calling you and emailing you guys released an update in 48 hours! Good job! Update: to make it work you have to delete the app and reinstall and than add your cars. Hope this helps! I updated the app and lost all my cars on the app! Now trying to add them again but not working at all! Why not testing it before releasing an app???
