Love Hallmark and their cards, especially Hoops and Yo-yo! But... This app says compatible for iPad, iPhone, etc. The only choices I have to send cards are Facebook Messenger, Facebook or email. I have several family members who either have iPhones and/or do not use Facebook. It would be great if I could send cards by regular sms message. When I tried to use an email from contacts, the address didn’t show correctly in the send field. I had to type it in with no spaces, so that was annoying as well. Please add sms message sending and fix the contact email addressing and it will be five stars!

Review 2 of 2 (see review #1) Problem solved. I tried the app on my iPad where I saw an icon to tap and I was taken to the beginning of the app. So I tried the same thing on my iPhone and even though there wasn’t an icon there, it still went back to the beginning of the app. I don’t know why I don’t see an icon on the iPhone app, but it worked. So I am happy now even though I feel like an idiot. Thanks to the developers for responding. I’m glad to know that you are paying attention. I’m feeling better now. No need for me to contact you. All the best to you. Review #1 of 2 I have just tried the app having already been a member on the web. I opened up one card to try the app and couldn’t find a way to close it, nor a way to get out of it unless I closed out the entire app. So far I’m not happy with it. If this keeps up no one will want it. It needs work. I hope it gets the TLC it requires in order to exist in the future. We need some hope guys! C’mon, please??

You would think that from the makers of hallmark...they would invest in a good app for cards. I spent over an hour and a half creating an anniversary card for my husband. Only to have issues with the font changing on its own. Text size not working. Text placement being lost. If I hadn’t copied and pasted, I would have lost my entire message. And in the end it wanted me to subscribe to a years subscription or buy a month subscription for 4.99, which was fine because I would have my card for the same amount. But when I tried to buy it it wouldn’t even let me purchase the app from the App Store. Only options of sending was email or Facebook. And I am one of the only people that doesn’t use Facebook. I find email very impersonal. Overall it was a complete waste of time. Had to have my husband read his card from the app before deleting it. Get your game face on Hallmark it’s all about apps nowadays.
