ShipStation Mobile

The app at this point is basically useless. I’m not trying to be harsh, but it simply doesn’t work. I’m an online seller with a couple hundred transactions a year, so not huge, but also not small. These are the issues I currently have with the app. 1. The app does not allow you to add funds to your ShipStation account. So if you don’t have enough money already in your account, you have to use a laptop or some other device to add funds first. 2. Shipstation only offers parcelguard insurance, however, it’s not available in the app. The app has the choice of shipsurance, which no longer exists, carrier insurance, which you are not allowed to choose, or no insurance. These two things seem very simple to resolve, however, they’ve been an issue for over a year. On your laptop/desktop you get to fight with printing, their solution ShipStation connect completely blows. Every time it gets an update it requires a re-login so I can’t run on an unattended machine reliably. Using the mobile app supports air print, which is a step in the right direction but then you can’t create a label in the first place using the app so what’s the point? If they would just fix the app, I would increase my rating

paypal decided to pair up with shipstation so i was forced to use this, and i hate it lol you guys decided to charge me an additional $10 for two packages that were successfully delivered? one was a whole MONTH ago with no issues during shipment, and i wake up this morning seeing a label adjustment... ridiculous. same with another one that was only ONE OUNCE OFF at the post office and the post office didn't care. $10 was gone absolutely wild that they think they can take $10 for whatever reason whenever they want for any package... never had this issue before with any packages using paypal's old shipping method and i've been doing this for four years. really sad that it's like this now

I love ShipStation on my MacBook and have been using it for 11 years. But this app is pretty much useless. The most common reason I’d want to look up an order on my phone would be to check tracking when a customer emails and asks where their package is. If you’re lucky enough to pull up an order by searching with order number (50% of the time I get an error message), you cannot just click on tracking number to track. And you can’t cut and paste it in your browser even. You have to write down the tracking then type it in in your browser. Also, when searching for an order by order number, usually the results are a bunch of orders! So you have to scroll through them to find the correct one. Maybe I am the crazy one for continuing to use this app! I keep hoping it will work properly, but it rarely does. So frustrating.
