Finally got around to installing the Xlive doorbell and it is the biggest piece of junk I’ve ever touched. Works great as a doorbell, but video, notifications or anything else, forget about it. There’s no support for the hardware or the app. Live and learn with Kickstarter projects. Can’t cry over wasted money. Time to lick my wounds and buy a Ring
I finally received my XLive Pro doorbell and installed it on 2/11. It worked about six days a week for three weeks until last week when it completely stopped working altogether. The “reboot” function just spins and spins. No user manual provided with the doorbell or with the app. Only installation instructions came with the doorbell. No contact/support information to be found anywhere either.
