It is great to be running with a worldwide group of people for a great cause. I love the atmosphere, the sense of connection with the other runners and the cause. My one suggestion would be to create timezone runs. 4am is simply too early to get my friends and family to participate and run with me. The feeling of connection would still be there and we could get even more runners. If every runner got 4 more people, think of the impact!

On this day, 1 year ago my mom had a stroke. She survived & was partially paralyzed on her right side. After intense physical & speech therapy…she went from paralyzed, to wheelchair, to walking with a cane, to walking completely on her own. There’s still more progress to go but you can’t tell me God isn’t real. I thank God for keeping my mom with us longer. Today I ran 4.7 miles for you & for all those who cannot! Happy Anniversary Mom! I love you!

So glad to have the opportunity to run this race for the 19th year. No excuses, we run for those who can’t. We give to make sure that doctors can somehow help those people who have spinal cord injuries.
Great run with a friend in our neighborhood. The app run is wonderful. You get a sense that your actually at a race. We still get excited a run as fast as we can before the catcher car gets us.
