I love this app! Since I travel for business and vacations it is so helpful to just choose the appropriate activities. And having the custom activities with the premium is so helpful!! I made custom activities for many things but the best is for my dog: I include his list if he’s on the trip or don’t include his list if traveling alone.
One major feature that I wish this app had was the ability to reorganize checklist items within the activities. They’re in a fixed order so I have to keep it as I add items rather than grouping certain clothing together or certain items together. If it had this I’d gladly give 5 stars!

Mode of this application allows you to configure each trip list according to your specific plans. Kids? Ski? Beach and Ski? Working while on a family vacation? International? Trips get complicated quickly, and I alway forget something. Now, domestic peace is restored, its a calm and orderly process. This has totally changed my life. A major usability improvement would be to support a filter to show only incomplete items. Otherwise, a complete endorsement.

I agree that it needs a little tweaking to make it perfect, but you can make your own custom lists and activities. You can also modify the activities lists. My packing needs are pretty much always the same, so I use this to keep me from forgetting something. Which is why we make lists, no? This app does that for me. (I have added the items I ALWAYS need that weren't included, so now it serves me quite well)

Punch in the city you're traveling to, the departure date, and the number of nights you'll be staying there.
PRO TIPS:
- Tap and hold to re-order packing list items
- Select "hide checked items" for a minimal packing list as you pack.
- Check out the Customize menu within PackPoint for more features
- Swipe left to remove an item from your packing list
- Tap the "+" sign to change quantities for each packing list item
- Check off "Repeat Basics" if you're willing to repeat wearing basics like shirts and pants
- Check off "Laundry" if you will have access to laundry facilities
PackPoint will build a packing list for you that takes into account:
- Business or Leisure travel
- Activities you plan on doing
- What you need for an international trip
- Warm weather clothes
- Cold weather clothes
- An umbrella if the forecast calls for rain
