I find this app very useful and simple, very easy to use. IF you have purchased the full version. The free version only allows you to have 3 daily habits to track. I needed more so I purchased the full version, happily thinking I could use this on my Apple Watch as well as my phone so I didn’t have to carry my phone around all day checking off my habits. The pictures indicate it can be used on the Apple Watch. I even emailed support to find out why the app wasn’t available on my watch and got a very basic response how to fix the problem, with a disclaimer that not all tech support requests can be addressed due to “limited resources”. I then spent an hour on the phone with Apple support only to learn that this app is IN FACT NOT COMPATIBLE WITH APPLE WATCH AND CANNOT BE USED ON APPLE WATCH AS THE PICTURES IN THE APP STORE AND ON THEIR WEBSITE INDICATE!!! I think this app is very nicely and simply designed without all the many bells and whistles so many other apps give you that you never use. It’s too bad their business practices are questionable.
I’ve been using this app for about two years of continued use. I’ve used a few habit tracker apps prior to this one, and I just loved the simplicity and clutter-free layout of this habit tracker. The more features and buttons there are on a habit tracker app, I find for me, the less likely I am to be consistent with utilizing it. I loved this app so much that ai upgraded to the paid version. I WOULD have given this app five stars. Yes, that’s right, I said would. Up until a few weeks ago, lo and behold, the app suddenly crashed on me. I would try to open up the app, it would look like it’s opening up, flash up, then it would just disappear. I lost all the habits I had stored in the app. There were two years worth of valuable habit entries I didn’t bother to store anywhere else. I tried trouble shooting by force-quitting the app, re-starting my phone, clearing the app’s cache, then I finally tried to uninstall then reinstall the app. Of course, this caused me to lose all my data, and I was extremely frustrated that I couldn’t retrieve my lost data. Definitely giving the app about 2 stars at this point because it is now useless.
I’ve been using this app for over a month now and I love it! I’d even consider getting the pro version (which is pretty reasonable at $5/yr) if it weren’t for one thing: it’s very outdated. The last time it was updated was 3yrs ago according to the App Store. It’s not optimized to take advantage of the larger screens of the newer phones and that gives it an overall old feel. If the app was updated just for the sake of compatibility and optimization it would go a long way! If the developer was more invested I would be much more likely to invest my money in the app, but I guess I’ll just use the free version for now.
