App Profile: Qup: Fill the party with music

Qup is a beautiful new app that lets your friends queue up their favorite tracks to a single stereo. Qup transforms a single phone into a streaming collaborative playlist, eliminating the need to swap cables or dig through someone's library to hear the song you want.

A single 'Qupholder' connects to the speaker, and other Qup users in range can join and add songs. The Qupholder needs Spotify premium to play music, but there are no further accounts, invite codes, or confusing URLs to worry about – setup is automatic via bluetooth and iBeacons. Qup is great for parties and informal gatherings, whether its a road trip or Thursday night at your apartment.
