Bridj is apparently only in Sydney. It would be great if it could say that on its home screen for those of us who didn't realize that service had stopped in Boston.
This service is the best replacement for commuting from greater Boston to downtown (inbound during morning, outbound during afternoon). The latest app seems to work a lot better and they have taken user input into account. As a replacement to the MBTA, they've got a bit to go but for now it's a great way to commute. Your own reserved cushion seat, wifi most of the time, AC/heat, friendly drivers (most of them), and a great price point. Now they are offering monthly passes which is great for people that don't bike/walk to work and want to avoid taking mass public transit. Overall, great service for a startup and wishing the best for the future!
This review is about the service, not the app. The service is excellent and inexpensive. No complaints. The app, as others have mentioned, is awful. I could deal with lack of a published schedule if the app actually worked at knowing times and locations. But I'll put in a route and they'll tell me it doesn't exist, even though I know it does, since I take it every day. If I were a first-timer, I would never know it existed. I have reported it to them and they tell me it's a bug. Ya think? Hard to serve customers if you tell them you don't exist.
