This is a great app for learning biblical languages. I love that the app is not just vocab, but you can also read the text and bring up detailed explanations of the words. I do feel like it reviews words I’ve already learned too often, though. I don’t think mastery of vocabulary is as important as with spoken languages. I dislike that I have to review all the old words before I can learn a new one. I also wish it had Hebrew audio. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’s being actively maintained, so improvements are unlikely. Still worth paying for, though.
Brilliant app, I love the way it keeps track of the words you need to review and handles the intervals of repetition. It’s great that there are multiple lexicons to choose from. Being able to select a passage range and word frequency to review is great too. One add on that would be great is Septuagint vocab. It could even be a paid upgrade for those who want it. You could also add a Septuagint lexicon. Thanks so much to the developer!
I use this for my second-year language classes. The professor assigns a passage to translate, then I add it to the app and memorize the vocab I don't already know. This app makes my life so much easier. Only one complaint: the review intervals are a touch too frequent for my taste, which can be frustrating when words I know keep popping up.
